Pathways/Senderos to Host 27th Annual Walk-a-Thon This Weekend

New Britain’s Pathways/Senderos will host its 27th Annual Walk-a-Thon this Sunday. The organization says that its traditional annual event, “brings together community members, families, friends, and supporters to raise funds for the youth and families Pathways/Senderos serves.”

The event is Sunday, September 27, 2026. “Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., with the walk kicking off at 10:00 a.m. Registration is $20 per person. After the walk, participants can enjoy refreshments and enter a raffle for some great prizes,” event organizers say.

The event is held in Walnut Hill Park.

“We are grateful to our community for coming together each year to support the young people of New Britain,” said Heather Mills, Executive Director of Pathways/Senderos. “Every registration, donation, and sponsorship helps us continue providing the resources and opportunities our youth need to succeed.”

The organization says that, “All proceeds from the Walk-a-Thon directly benefit the youth at Pathways/Senderos, supporting the organization’s ongoing programs and services that help New Britain youth succeed academically, build leadership skills, prepare for their futures, and develop into healthy, self-sufficient adults.”
