Mayor Bobby Sanchez, City Health Department and Stop & Shop Hosting Shingles & Pneumonia Presentation and Vaccine Clinic
Mayor Bobby Sanchez (D) has announced that he, the City of New Britain Health Department and Stop & Shop Pharmacists will be hosting a Shingles & Pneumonia Presentation and Vaccine Clinic.
Following a presentation, the city says, “a pharmacist from Stop & Shop will be available to administer shingles and pneumonia vaccinations to eligible participants.”
“Make sure to bring your health insurance cards and a valid photo ID,” the city adds.
The presentation, the city says, “will provide information about shingles and pneumonia, including how these illnesses can affect adults as they age, particularly those over 50, associated health risks, and the importance of prevention.”
The event is to be Wednesday, September 23, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the Vermont Room of the New Britain Senior Center on Pearl Street.
