South Church and Global Sickle Cell Alliance Hosting Blood Drive
South Church and the Global Sickle Cell Alliance are hosting a Blood Drive in recognition of sickle cell month.
The event is Wednesday, September 30, from 12:00 to 5:00pm at the South Church.
Event organizers say that, “Patients fighting sickle cell disease may require regular blood transfusions to avoid health crises. You can make a difference. Donate blood.”
Organizers say that registration is required. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
