Nickelodeon & Hungerford Nature Center & Museum Day of Play

The Hungerford Nature Center & Museum has announced that it will, “be participating in Nickelodeon’s ‘Day of Play.”

“This is a free event with paid admission,” the Nature Center says, “and we will be doing all kinds of fun activities with kids and families! This is a day of joyful learning through play, as Nickelodeon partnered with The Association of Children’s Museum to bring us this wonderful gathering of children and families. Featuring fun, games, slime, learning, outdoors, animals, slime, kids stations….did we mention THERE WILL BE SLIME!!!”

Event organizers say, “Come down Saturday September 26th from 12-2pm and check out a day ‘encouraging children to play; engaging parents in enabling their child’s play; creating access to experiences that improve children’s health (mental and physical), wellbeing, agency, resilience, and empathy; and creating a world where all children thrive'” (www.nickalive.net)
