2026 Race in the Park Held to Support Breast Cancer Education and Research

The Connecticut Breast Health Initiative (CT BHI) held its 2026 Race in the Park on Saturday, May 9th, continuing a Mother’s Day weekend tradition in New Britain.

People come to the event each year to honor breast cancer survivors, and remember loved ones while supporting the work of the Connecticut Breast Health Initiative.

The CT BHI says that it,

is a state-wide non-profit organization making a significant impact in the quest to find a cure for breast cancer by providing grants to support education and research in Connecticut. Founded in 2004, it has been our goal to find answers in our lifetime.
