Mayor Bobby Sanchez and City Health Department – Save a Life Day
The Office of Mayor Bobby Sanchez (D) says that,
As part of National Public Health Week, the City of New Britain is hosting “Save A Life Day” to provide free, hands-on training in administering naloxone, a life-saving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses.
New Britain EMS will lead the sessions, teaching participants how to identify overdose symptoms, administer naloxone, and respond effectively in an emergency.
With many overdoses occurring in the presence of others, this training equips individuals with the knowledge and confidence to take action and save lives.
The event is April 8, 2026, 6:00pm at the New Britain Senior Center, 55 Pearl Street.
