CCSU Planetarium Presenting Shows on “Star Swarms”

The CCSU Copernican Planetarium and Observatory is presenting shows on “Star Swarms”.

“Most stars are not loners like our Sun,” says the Planetarium, “but are part of a large group or star cluster. Join us as we fly through these stellar swarms at our next free public planetarium shows.”

The events is Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 12:15pm and Friday, April 12th, at 7:30pm.

The Planetarium says that,

Doors to the planetarium (Copernicus Hall Room 211) open 30 min. before show time. Arrive at least 15 min. early as the presentation starts promptly and there is no late admission once the lights are turned off. Please note that we have a strict NO FOOD, DRINK, or CANDY/GUM policy (and a new carpet!).

The Planetarium also invites people, “After the evening shows we observe the night sky with telescopes if weather permits.”
