CCSU Planetarium Presenting Shows on “Giant Slush Puppies”

The CCSU Copernican Planetarium and Observatory is presenting shows on “Giant Slush Puppies”.

“Spring is almost here,” says the Planetarium, “but before we bid the cold temperatures farewell, let’s take a trip to the ice giant planets in the outer solar system, Uranus and Neptune, and their moons.”

“Join us for a free public planetarium show,” the Planetarium says. The event is Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 12:15pm and Friday, March 22nd, at 7:00pm.

The Planetarium says that,

Doors to the planetarium (Copernicus Hall Room 211) open 30 min. before show time. Arrive at least 15 min. early as the presentation starts promptly and there is no late admission once the lights are turned off. Please note that we have a stric NO FOOD, DRINK, or CANDY/GUM policy (and a new carpet!).

The Planetarium also invites people, “After the evening show, if skies are clear, join us in observing the real night sky through our telescopes.”
