Education the Focus of 3rd Interfaith Racial and Social Justice Conversation

Education will be the topic of conversation at the third online Racial and Social Justice conversation sponsored by New Britain Area Interfaith Conference.

The discussion on public education is to be the third online event in the Interfaith Conference’s, “Shaping Peace Together: Advancing Racial and Social Justice,” series.

Panelist the upcoming event are to be:

  • Dr. Violet Jimenez Sims of the New Britain Board of Education
  • Genesis Brown, Jaheim Cousin and Jessica Taing, students at New Britain High School
  • Susan Girolomoni, Principal of New Britain Transitional Center
  • Dr. Nicole Sanders, Chief Officer for the New Britain school district Talent Development Office

The third online event in the series is planned for October 12, 2020 at 7:00pm.
