Farmers to Families Food Box Program at St. James

St. James Missionary Baptist Church and Kingdom International Economic Development (KIEDC) are presenting a Farmers to Families Food Box Program.

Organizers say that, “KIEDC presents USDA Farmers to Family Food Box program along with community partners to feed New Britain families”

The community food distribution program is planned for October 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, 2020, from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

It is to be held at St. James Missionary Baptist Church at 45 Daly Avenue.

Organizers say that, “face masks are required and please maintain social distancing.”

Explaining how the program is to work, organizers say, “Please bring your vehicle or cart to a complete stop,” “please keep mask on,” “pop the trunk or open the back window,” and, “box will be placed in your vehicle or cart.”

Organizers say that donations to KIEDC, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, can be made at PayPal at paypal.me/kiedc or on Cash App.

“We’re stronger together,” say organizers of the program.
