Midsummer Festival – Noc Świętojańska – to be Celebrated

The Polish American Foundation is celebrating its Third Annual Midsummer Festival – Noc Świętojańska – to celebration to raise funds for disabled children and youth in Poland.

“Everyone is invited to wear white outfits and wreaths ‘wianki’,” Festival organizers say, “prizes will be presented for the most beautiful wreath.”

The Festival will be held at the Gen. Haller Post, which is at 112 Grove Street, on June 28, 2019, from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.

Midsummer Festival - Noc Świętojańska - to be Celebrated

Organizers say that proceeds from the charity event are, “intended for the construction of a house for disabled children and youth in Poland, in Piwniczna-Zdrój.”

The event is held in collaboration with the Belvedere Restaurant, the White Eagle Newspaper, the Honorary Consulate of the Polish Republic in New Britain and the Haller Post.

Tickets for the event, which may be purchased from Roman Nowak, Max Mart, Belvedere Restaurant, the White Eagle Newspaper, Polish Express Newspaper or European Café, are $35.
