CCSU Polish and Polish American Studies Program Presenting Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra Christmas Concert

CCSU says that, “The S.A. Blejwas Endowed Chair in Polish and Polish American Studies will present its annual Christmas concert, featuring the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Adrian Sylveen, conductor.”

The program for the concert is to include featured soloist Karolina Wojteczko, mezzo-soprano and,

-Selected songs by Karol Szymanowski
-“You Who Wronged a Simple Man” for voice and strings by Czesłąw Miłosz/Adrian Sylveen
-Selected concert carols by Feliks Nowowiejski
-World premiere “A Nocturn for Violin and String Orchestra” by American Italian composer Ernesto Ferreri
-Traditional Christmas carols with the Moniuszko Choir

The concert is to be December 21, 2025, at 4:00pm at the Torp Theater in CCSU’s Lawrence J Davidson Hall.

The free event, open to the public, is supported by Alex and Regina Rudewicz Fund, CCSU says.
