Friends of the New Britain Public Library Hosting Fall Book Sale
Friends of the New Britain Public Library says they, “have been busy all summer preparing for the upcoming Fall Book Sale.”
The annual Fall Book Sale is to be October 16, 2025 to October 18th, the organization says, adding, “admission is free except for the first hour and a half on Thursday.”
Friends of the New Britain Public Library says that the sale is,
-Thursday, October 16 – 9:30 am – 11 am (Preview $10/-pp, free to members of the NB Friends)
-11 am – 2 pm (free admission)
-6 pm – 7 pm (free admission)
-Friday, October 17 – 10 am – 3 pm (free admission). History, Biography and Children’s DVDs on Sale today.
-Saturday, October 18 – 10 am – 2 pm (free admission). All-day bag sale includes media, $10/-bag (our bags)
“The Sale features a diverse selection of fiction and nonfiction (especially history and biography) in English and Polish, DVDs, CDs and LPs,” Friends of the New Britain Public Library says. “New this time is a special section on the Civil War, and New England Genealogy from the 1800’s to the present. We also offer a unique collection of postcards (individually packed by city) from the early 1900’s.”
“We are proud,” the organization says, “to offer our selection of specially-priced books, including a 2-vol. set of Rudyard Kipling’s Selections of His Stories and Poems excellent condition, beautiful dust-jacket); Creoles of Louisiana, 1884, 1st ed, ex-lib, re-bound)”
