New Britain Youth Theatre Announces Auditions for Shrek, Jr.

Saying that it, “is celebrating 15 years in the city of New Britain,” New Britain Youth Theatre is announcing upcoming auditions for its production of “Shrek, Jr.”

“NBYT is a professionally run community and educational theater for children and teens,” the theater program says. “NBYT was founded in 2010 and has always accepted children from New Britain and all surrounding towns and communities, with all abilities and all levels of experience, to be involved in the theater experience in a variety of ways both onstage and off.”

Auditions for “Shrek, Jr., the Musical” are to be September 2, 2025, September 3rd and September 5th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Rehearsals are Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 6:00pn to 8:00pm, and the play is to be presented from December 5th to 7th.
