New Britain Public Library Hosting, an event, Community Reads Latino Poetry with Deborah Paredez.
The Library says,
Join us for a community poetry reading with Mexican American poet Deborah Paredez on October 21. She will be discussing her poetry and process, as well as reading select poems from Latino Poetry: The Library of America Anthology, edited by Rigoberto Gonzáles. Copies of the books will be available at the Circulation Desk, participants are encouraged to read the poems in advance to discuss and share their thoughts and reflections. The event will be moderated by Natalie Catasús and Julien Strong from CCSU English Department.
The event is to be Monday, Oct 21, 2024 at 5:30pm in the Library Periodical Room.
