CCSU Online RN to BSN Program Ranked Best in Connecticut
Registered Nursing.org has named CCSU’s RN to BSN Nursing education program to be #1 in Connecticut for 2025.
Naming CCSU’s program the best in the state, Registered Nursing.org says that,
Central Connecticut State University’s RN to BSN online program provides registered nurses a flexible pathway to complete their bachelor’s degree. Designed for working professionals, the program can be completed in as little as one year, depending on transfer credits. With 100% online nursing classes, students benefit from experienced faculty who are active in clinical practice. The curriculum focuses on advanced nursing skills, leadership development, and evidence-based research, preparing nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse healthcare settings.
“We rank programs to help you find the right fit for your career goals,” Registered Nursing.org says. “Our list focuses on quality, flexibility, and support for working nurses.”
“Through an RN to BSN bridge program, RNs in the state have the opportunity to build upon the knowledge they gained via an Associate’s Degree in Nursing or diploma program, and in turn, provide greater patient care and achieve higher levels of career success,” Registered Nursing.org adds.
Dr. Jayanthi Kandiah, Dean of CCSU’s College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, says,
We are incredibly proud that our online RN to BSN Program is ranked number 1 in Connecticut. This achievement reflects the continued dedication of our exceptional faculty and their unwavering commitment to providing students with the highest quality education. We remain focused on empowering and supporting our students with both the didactic and clinical skills they need to become outstanding nurses.
Coordinator of the CCSU RN-BSN program, Stacy Christensen, adds,
We work so hard to give this program a personal touch to the people who are interested in enrolling. I think that’s made a big difference. I’ve found that with a lot of other programs, you have to go through several gate keepers to get information. We are real people, in real offices, who prospective students can come and see and talk to.
Saying, “We believe in providing students with all the information possible to make the right choice when selecting a nursing program.,” Registered Nursing.org says, describing the criteria it uses in its ranking.
