HRA of New Britain Celebrating 60th Anniversary
The Human Resources Agency of New Britain has announced that, in celebration of its 60th anniversary, it is, “embarking on a year-long campaign to celebrate the achievements and local impact made since its founding in 1964.”
Dr. Marlo Greponne, Executive Director of HRA says that, “This milestone is a reflection of our collective resolve to combat social challenges and an opportunity to renew our dedication to those we serve. We continue to strive as leaders in offering early education, financial guidance, and essential life skills to empower individuals and families.”
HRA says that, “With a longstanding commitment to fighting poverty, HRA has become a beacon of hope and support in the community, providing a broad spectrum of services aimed at fostering self-sufficiency and empowerment.”
The organization is planning two major events for its yearlong celebration, including its 60th Anniversary Annual Meeting on June 13, 2024 and its Fundraising Gala on November 8th. HRA says that the Gala, celebrating 60 Years of Empowering Lives, is, “Featuring keynotes from Alton Brooks, HRA’s inaugural executive director, and Dr. Marlo Greponne, the evening will highlight past accomplishments and future endeavors.”
