Chris Anderson Re-Elected as Democratic Party Chair

As was widely expected, Chris Anderson had been re-elected to lead the New Britain Democratic Party for the upcoming two-year term of office.

Anderson’s win was assured following the victory of the Row B team, of which Anderson was a part, in the recent primary for the Democratic Town Committee members representing Democratic voters in Ward 1 and Ward 3. Row B candidates swept all of seventeen of the seats up for election.

Anderson was a member of the City Council and was the 2023 Democratic candidate for mayor.

The Democratic Party Chair, along with other local party officials, are elected by the the members of the Democratic Town Committee every two years.
