New Britain Youth Football and Cheer has announced that it will be holding its Third Annual Flag Football Clinic and has opened registration for the program.
The Jr. Canes organization say that the Clinic is about, “Introducing boys and girls to FUNdamentals flag football skills.”
The free program will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019. Check-in will begin at 9:30am and the program will run from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
The Jr. Canes say that the Clinic is for children aged four to seven, with a girls’ division for children aged six to eight.
Registration for the Clinic is available at a registration website for the program.
The program will be held at Chesley Field at 95 Wildwood Street.
New Britain Youth Football & Cheer, Inc., the official name of the Jr. Canes organization, says that it is,
a not for profit organization formed to provide children living in the community the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of sports. The primary goal is to develop young men and women; who through participation in the program; will progress into New Britain High School football and cheerleading program creating a feeder system that will focus on the student-athlete as a whole and produce successful community contributors as well as fundamentally sound athletes.
