The Central Connecticut Chapter of Our Revolution has announced that it will be hosting a legislative panel discussion and are inviting the public to attend.
The group has announced that legislators invited to participate in the panel include Rep. Rick Lopes (D-24, New Britain), Rep. Peter Tercyak (D-25, New Britain), Rep. Brandon McGee (D-5), Rep. Josh Elliot (D-88) and Senator-Elect Matt Lesser (D-9).
The organization says that it has invited the legislators to, “provide us with what the upcoming legislative session will look like from their perspective and we will have an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions and provide input.”
The panel discussion will on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. It will be held in the New Britain Public Library at 20 High Street.
Our Revolution is a nonprofit organization born out of the presidential campaign of Bernie Sanders. The organization says, “The next step for Bernie Sanders’ movement is Our Revolution, which will fight to transform America and advance the progressive agenda that we believe in.”
