Kay B. Davis Luncheon: A Celebration Of Food And Togetherness At Bethesda Apostolic Church

The New Britain Branch of the NAACP and Bethesda Apostolic Church hosted a Pre-Thanksgiving Luncheon on Saturday, November 17th to honor the memory of neighborhood activist, Sister Kay B. Davis. NAACP President Ronald Davis and members of his family organized the “celebration of food and togetherness.” 

Kay Davis, who died in 2011 at the age of 81, served as the church clerk and organist at Bethesda for 50 years. She was an NAACP member and served on the Democratic Town Committee and was the President and founder of the Mount Pleasant Resident Council.
