A new pitcher will be joining the New Britain Bees. The Bees have announced that Tyler Badamo, will start his fifth season as a professional baseball player joining the New Britain team.
Bees General Manager Brad Smith said, “Tyler will be a nice addition to this team. He has proven himself in this league and was also one of the success stories last season, getting picked up by an affiliated club.”

He played in 2017 for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He started eleven games with that team. Playing 61.2 innings, he had 4-3 record with a 2.63 ERA and thirty-nine strikeouts. After his contract was purchased, he played the rest of that season for the Arizona Diamondbacks, rising to Triple-A level.
