Arch Area NRZ Build-A-Better Block Event to Be Jun 2nd.

The Arch Area Neighborhood Revitalization Zone (NRZ) will hold its “Build-A-Better Block” community event on June 2, 2018. The event is being organized to bring the community together share and promote positive qualities of the neighborhood.

The free, family-friendly event will feature food, music, cultural dances, vendors, face painting and story telling. There will be pinatas, handmade by Arch Street’s Lily’s Party & Flower Shop and the New Britain Bees’ mascot “Sting” will make an appearance, as well.

The Arch NRZ encourges people in the neighborhood to join the event to, “Meet your fellow neighbors, businesses and owners of service sites in the area.”

“Help us highlight the positive qualities of the neighborhood,” the NRZ says, asking, “How can we re-invent the Arch Area.”

The event will take place on June 2, 2018, from 12:00noon to 4:00pm at Stephen Carey Park. The event’s rain date will be June 3rd.

Stephen Carey Park is on Arch Street, across the street from Criollisimo Restaurant and Lily’s Party and Flower Shop.
