Arch Area NRZ “Clean Up, Plant Up” Party Delayed to Jun 16th

The Arch Area Neighborhood Revitalization Zone (NRZ) has announced that its “Clean Up, Plant Up Party” has been delayed to June 16, 2018.

The neighborhood clean-up event had been planned for May 19th, but, as the NRZ says,

The weather just doesn’t seem to want to cooperate. We have been watching and listening and it now appears that Saturday is going to be a complete wash out. Therefore, in conjunction with the Police Department we have now reserved Saturday, June 16th as the Clean up day. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

The NRZ say that,”We are celebrating our Arch Area Neighborhood by sharing breakfast, cleaning up trash, planting flowers, and playing fund activities and game!’ says the NRZ.

The Clean Up, Plant Up Party” will now be planned from 9:00am to 12:00pm on June 16th. Participants are asked to gather at the Northend School at 160 Bassett Street.

“All are welcome!” adds the NRZ.

In announcing the delay for the NRZ reminded people, “Meanwhile please continue to encourage attendance and remember….June 2nd Build A Better Block!!!”

The NRZ is planning the Build a Better Block event as a day of activities to,

1. bring the community together,

2. highlight the positive qualities of the neighborhood, and

3. build relationships to the businesses, organizations and residents that are a part of the Arch Area NRZ community.

The Arch Area NRZ say that its mission, “is working to improve the local neighborhood and assist all stakeholders in establishing a quality of life for all to enjoy.”
