Fagan League Holding Winter Clinics and Opening 2018 Baseball Registration

“Spring is almost here and baseball is back!” says the New Britain Fagan Cal Ripken Baseball League. Even with snow still falling, the Fagan League says it, “is excited and gearing up for the 2018 baseball season!”

New Britain Fagan League is a non-profit, volunteer run baseball organization for children, ages four to twelve. The League says that it has, for over fifty years, been providing New Britain kids with

education in the fundamentals of baseball as well as the many life skills that come along with it. All of our coaches are certified through Cal Ripken Baseball and teach baseball the “Ripken Way”. This includes sportsmanship, integrity, community, passion, character, teamwork, fun, family, and commitment.

The League is holding winter clinics at the Holmes School on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. The League says that, “Team selections will soon be taking place. With that being said, we are still accepting registrations for kids ages 4 to 12.” Registration is available online at nbfaganbaseball.com.

The Fagan League is also accepting registrations for the 2018 baseball season, also on its website at nbfaganbaseball.com.

The League says that the New Britain Fagan Baseball League is a league,

  • “where your child will get individual focused attention to learn the fundamentals of baseball,”
  • “where all of our games are played at 1 park in the City of New Britain (Martha Hart Park),”
  • “where all of our coaches are required to obtain their coaching certification through the Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth League,”
  • “where the three fundamentals of the game, teamwork, respect, and have fun, are instilled in every ball player and coach.”

Regular registration is $85 for for the child and $65 for each additional child in same family.

For more information, the League invites people to call Jose Torres at 860-518-6953 or visit its website at nbfaganbaseball.com..
