New Britain has a long tradition for how our community honors veterans on Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
War memorials are placed throughout the city, remembering those who served, and especially those who gave their lives, in different wars. New Britain has long held to the tradition of holding memorial ceremonies at war monuments all around the city, reading the names of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and remembering where they fought and what they did.
As New Britain so personally remembers those who served, fought and gave their lives for our country, the New Britain Progressive offers our thanks to all of our city’s veterans on this Veterans Day.
