PAL Karate Program for Kids 7 and Up Beginning Jan 22nd and 26th

The New Britain Police Athletic League (PAL) Karate Program will begin its twelve week class sessions for kids seven years and older, beginning on January 22, 2018.

The program offers either a Monday or a Friday class. Both class options are for twelve weeks.

PAL describes the program as, “Where students learn focus, become disciplined and learn to defend themselves in a safe, fun and structured atmosphere in the art of Tang Soo Do Karate.”

The classes are taught by Master Harry Needham and the staff of the Institute of Martial Arts, Cheezic Tang Soo Do Federation.

The Monday class will begin on January 22nd and the Friday class begins on January 26th. Both the Monday and Friday classes are from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

The PAL program says that, “Uniforms are available. (The uniform is not required until the lass class. However we do like to make one order per session.)”, adding that, “This is an ongoing class that allows students to achieve belt levels and continually renew every 12 weeks.”

Fees for the twelve week session are $60.

“Call or stop in a register today,” says the PAL program. PAL is located at 544 Osgood Avenue. The PAL Director is Officer Barry Hertzler, who can be reached by cell phone at 860-877-3893, at his office phone at 860-827-4560 or by email at [email protected].
