The New Britain Branch of NAACP will hold its annual Freedom Fund Dinner on Friday, November 17th, 2017.

The reception for the event will be at 5:30pm and the dinner program will begin at 6:30pm. It will be held at Saint George Greek Orthodox Cultural Center, 301 W. Main St., in New Britain.

The annual dinner supports the mission of the NAACP New Britain Branch to organize in New Britain and empower its residents to win a better, more equal, more just community by working in support of equal access to quality education, decent housing, health care, criminal justice reform, participatory democracy and much more.

Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation’s oldest and largest nonpartisan civil rights organization. Its members throughout the United States and the world are the premier advocates for civil rights in their communities.
