Free Health Consultations and Screenings Offered in Downtown New Britain

In observance of National Primary Care Week, the Connecticut Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Network and the UConn Health Center for Public Health and Health Policy will hold free health consultations and screenings.

The event will be held on Wednesday, October 26th, from 1:30pm to 4pm in the Community Room in the New Britain Police Department at 10 Chestnut St in New Britain.

There will be free:

  • Pharmacy consultations
  • Blood Pressure Screenings
  • Blood Sugar Screenings.

Also offered will be information and education about:

  • Salt Reduction Tips
  • Oral Hygiene
  • Sexually Transmitted Diseases
  • Medication Interactions
